Saint Adrian of Canterbury
Saint Adrian spent most of his time in Canterbury not as bishop, but as abbot and teacher. Often the Lord has plans for us that are obvious only on hindsight. How often have we said no to something or someone only to end up in much the same place anyway. The Lord knows what’s good for us. Can we trust him?

WinterFest Week!
January 7 - 10
Costume Rules and Guidelines- No shorts or leggings will be allowed per the student handbook.
- Tennis shoes are allowed on all days. No flip-flops, crocs, boots, or slippers.
- No toy weapons/swords of any sort.
- Shirts must have a full back and some sort of sleeves (no tank tops, swim suits).
- All outfits and costumes must be appropriate including language, graphics, etc.
- The motto for this week is, “If in doubt – don’t wear it – or bring a backup outfit."
- School administrators will have the final say in the appropriateness of dress attire.
On Tuesday, wear pajamas. On Wednesday, wear a sweater! On Thursday, wear mismatched clothes.
On Friday, dress up like a different generation!
Freshmen are Babies, Sophomores are Pre-K, Juniors are Adults, and Seniors are Senior Citizens.
Dress up days will also be a class competition! The class with the most participation will receive 50 points added to their banner.

WinterFest Court
Rescheduled to January 31
Due to the potential inclement weather, the WinterFest court recognition has been moved to Friday, January 31. The court will be recognized at the home basketball game vs. Briarcrest.

Winter Semi-Formal Has Been Canceled
Due to the potential inclement weather, the WinterFest Semi-Formal dance has been canceled. Anyone who has purchased tickets online will receive a refund automatically.

Dress Code Reminder
Remember that our female students can wear either navy blue or black leggings under their skirt. No pajama pants, please!

Baseball Workouts
Workouts beginning January 13
If you are interested in playing baseball, you must attend mandatory workouts starting next Monday (January 13th). Workouts are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday in the weight room. On Wednesdays, we will be at the baseball field. If you have any questions, email Coach Knott ([email protected]) or stop by his classroom (A-202).
