Gifts made in memory or honor of a relative, classmate, or friend are a meaningful way to honor the deceased and support SBA. Remember your loved one with a Memorial at St. Benedict at Auburndale. A Memorial is an aid to our faith, reminds us to be grateful, and the great need for unity amongst four family and friends. The Memorial will be seen as a lasting symbol of life. An acknowledgment will be sent to the deceased's family, and the name of the deceased will be entered on the prayer list in the Chapel.
St. Benedict offers our families, friends, and alums the opportunity to honor their families and loved ones with a memorial plaque, bench, or tree in the Memorial Garden. Each item is a visible part of the Garden and helps ensure the tradition of quality Catholic Education in our community for generations to come. All gifts will help to provide future improvements at the school and in the Garden.
A Memorial Scholarship is a grant designed to honor and cement the legacy of your loved one who has passed. You can create a Memorial Scholarship for students who share the values of the loved one, who are pursuing a similar life path, or who represent the types of people that the person you’re memorializing wanted to help. To start a Memorial Scholarship, the minimum annual commitment is $2,000. Please get in touch with Chris Burke, Director of Advancement, at 901-260-2885 or [email protected] to establish a Memorial Scholarship.
