Our STEM Enrichment class is offered to 7th and 8th-grade students. It is our goal to create critical thinkers and increase students’ science literacy through action-based learning. Students will develop key skills, including problem solving and creativity. The class will be taught in our STEM Lab from 7:00am to 7:30am on Tuesdays and Thursdays, beginning August 16th and running through December 8th. Rising 8th graders who participated this previous year are welcome to enroll again as the content will differ.
As a Diocesan high school, we follow the diocesan school calendar for holidays and weather related closings. Further, detailed information will be sent to families before the start of classes. STEM class supplies will be provided. There is no fee for the classes, but space is limited. Please register by July 15th.
For questions, please contact Mr. Herman Jorgensen.
Our middle school honor choir serves as supplementary musical enrichment for middle school choir students. The group meets every week and performs at choir concerts throughout the year. This group is led by our Choir Director, Mr. Tim Vaziri, and covers vocal techniques including pitch production, rhythm, and diction.
