As the Diocese of Memphis' only Diocesan High School, SBA makes it a priority to live out the mission of the Diocese "To spread the Good News of Jesus Christ to the people of West Tennessee" through robust ministry programs on and off campus. Led by Fr. Dexter Noblefranca, the students of SBA live out the Gospel through daily theology class, the biweekly celebration of Mass, monthly Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, annual retreats, guest speakers, student organizations, guided reflection on vocational discernment, daily prayer, and the Sacrament of Reconciliation, offered for those individuals who desire it. The presence of Fr. Dexter, our Dominican Sisters, and dozens of Lay Faithful help guide our students to a closer relationship with God. With nearly 40% of our student body reporting identification of religions other than Catholicism, we pride ourselves on the ability to foster community and fellowship across religious and spiritual divides, guided through our school's understanding of Christ's ultimate mission of love.
